When your brain doesn’t fit neatly into the boxes of a calendar, maybe it’s not broken — maybe it’s just trying to find its rhythm again. A soft rebellion against productivity culture for those who work best in tides, not time.
I have one side of my brain permanently SHRUNKEN by about a third....lucky for me it's the tech side. My creative side is all there still. I have seen this on a recent MRI. Scary and sobering stuff.
Oh, that is really interesting! I do know COVID had an effect on the brain. For me, it was only while I had it for the week, but my anxiety and my overthinking completely went away. (the best side effect of anything, ever). Apparently, it was due to common inflammation in the brain. I'm really so sorry you're experiencing that. I know it forces a completely new way of being.

I agree any way to get rid of anxiety is good!
All of what you described going through is very similar to my long covid fatigue, brain fog and lack of solid ground to stand (lie down) on.
