A brave space to explore the mess and meaning of death, grief, life, and magic—the sacred, the strange, and the deeply human.
Welcome. I'm so glad you found your way here.
I’m Heather Honold, a death doula, grief educator, spiritual coach, and energy healer. I’m also a human navigating the world with ADHD, Complex PTSD, Borderline Personality Disorder, and Health Anxiety. These experiences don’t define me. Yet they do inform how I hold space, how I write, and how I understand healing: as a layered, non-linear, deeply personal process.
Bone & Bloom is where I write about the quiet truths most people don’t say out loud. The weight of grief, the ache of mental health struggles, the disorientation of change, and the strange beauty of being alive anyway.
Here, you’ll find reflections and resources on:
Death & Dying: End of Life, conscious dying, death doula insights, grief care.
Grief & Rememberance: Personal stories, rituals for loss, grief education, and the strange shapes grief takes over time.
Mental Health & Emotional Healing: ADHD, trauma, menopause, shame, nervous system care, and the nonlinear process of becoming.
Rituals & Everyday Magic: Lunar living, crystal work, energy practices, ancestral connection, and the sacred in the mundane.
Notes to No One: Unfiltered essays, inner monologues, poetic fragments, and things I need to say out loud.
Some posts will be raw and unfiltered. Others will feel like a soft place to land. You’ll find practical tools, quiet reflections, and the kind of truths that don’t ask to be pretty, just honest. Bone & Bloom is part guidebook, part grimoire. A place for soul-tenders, deep feelers, and anyone walking through the sacred mess of being human.
No toxic positivity. No spiritual bypassing. Just real talk, small rituals, and hard-won wisdom—offered from one tender human to another.
